Founder and Principal Consultant
My career has taken me through a range of organizations, from non-profits like the Grand Rapids Ballet Company and the Tulip Time Festival, to large corporations like BGRS (now Sirva) and General Motors. Most recently, I was working as an operations manager at a local small business in Ann Arbor. Across all of it, the work touched on the kinds of things every organization eventually needs help with, whether that's creating and managing processes that hold up to scale, negotiating vendor contracts, rewriting outdated policies, integrating new systems and software, or coordinating the events and day-to-day details that keep a business running smoothly.
Essor is a French word that means momentum, or more precisely, that moment when something lifts off and takes flight. I chose this name both because of my French heritage and love of the language, but also because it captures what I bring to the businesses I work with. My time abroad taught me to think on my feet, figure things out as I went, and keep pushing toward solutions even in unfamiliar environments. That same instinct is what helps me find the fastest path to real progress, no matter what I walk into.
